bathe in ignorance

Installation, projection, first shown at The Print Shed Artist in Residence Show in 2015 and word collection paintings double-sided poster.
This began as a way to visualise my own ignorance and literally bathe myself in it.
In the largest dictionary I could find locally; the Oxford Shorter Dictionary at Abergavenny Library I selected a number of pages and on those pages I found all the words I don’t fully know the meaning of.
In those few pages there were many words I didn’t know so I kept a record of them and created a tepee and pricked the words into thick black plastic and on a bright sunny day got within it and I was bathed in the light of the words I don't yet know.
